Rainer Irmen is a partner of DUKAP and has more than 25 years of professional experience in corporate finance, structured real estate and project finance. He has held various senior management positions in banks and specialized lending institutions, including as a board member of DVB Bank AG and Sächsische Aufbaubank. His responsibilities also covered both supervisory board and advisory board mandates. Further, he spent a total of five years as a management consultant for banks and other financial service providers.
During the first 10 years of his career, he was responsible on the sell-side for long-term corporate transactions, real estate leasing and project finance. Subsequently, he was responsible for the day-to-day lending business including the continuous development of credit and rating processes for many years. Later he focused on commercial real estate finance, including property development finance. His role also involved the restructuring of corporate and project finance.
Rainer Irmen holds a diploma in agricultural economics from the Georg August University of Göttingen.
